Recently Little Green Pouch shipped me a box of their pouches to try and review. I was very interested in their product because I am always looking for new and easier ways to take food on the go with us. I have used these pouches for about two weeks and am impressed. They are dishwasher and freezer safe which makes them perfect for our family. I don’t hand wash anything unless I have to. So throwing these babies in the dishwasher was a breeze! I tried them out in The Man’s lunch as well. I made smoothies and packed them in his lunch for work. The kids mostly used them for smoothies. They didn’t leak which is a big thing for me. It took me filling them a few times to realize where the fill line was on the pouches. This was a user error on my end because I was moving too fast and trying to get them ready to head out the door. My kids don’t eat a lot of cereal and we have canceled a lot of bread out of our diet due to gluten sensitivity so smoothies have been life savers for us. I love this product. Did I mention these are BPA and Phthalate free? Thank you Little Green Pouch for coming up with such a great product and giving me the chance to try it out!
Guess what! Now you can enter for a chance to win a 4 pack of Little Green Pouch! All you have to do to enter is comment below about what you would like to put in your pouches for a chance to win. My favorite smoothie right now:
1 cup Almond Milk
2 tbsp organic cinnamon raisin peanut butter
4 ice cubes
Blend together and serve
I received a 4-pack of Little Green Pouch to review and giveaway but was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations.
I’d like to try more veggies for my 2 year old, perhaps sweet potatoes with applesauce?
This would be great for my little gymnast. So many days we are running to gymnastics [or running to the school afterwards], and we are constantly eating on the run. Since I make my own yogurt, this would be great to fill, freeze, and grab as we head out the door. Thank you so much for offering this!
I’m going to have to try these once DD is old enough.
Our favorite thing to put in pouches is
Banana and pumpkin purée for my 11 month old and applesauce for my 2.5 year old!
I’d put any of the blended food I make for my little one, like Peaches and Squash.
My 8 month old loves to feed herself using pouches but they are so expensive! These look awesome and much more economical. At this age, I would probably put all of her food in them and then later on keep them filled with fruits and veggies for quick snacks.
I would use them for yogurt combos. I have a 2.5 year old and a 10 month old and I hate the disposable pouches because of the cost and waste. It would be great to make our own smushy pouches!
I will use these pouches for so much but currently my daughter is going through a milk boycotting phase so I will mostly use them for yogurt and smoothies containing milk products. They are going to be amazing!
I would use the Little Green Pouch for everything! Sweet potatoes, berries, bananas…. Etc. My little one prefers eating out of a pouch over a spoon.
I love this product! I would put EVERYTHING imaginable in my pouch. Applesauce, smoothies, any and all purred baby food! Great product!!
I am the type of Mom that makes my three boys sack lunches for school. I would use this to make sure my kids are getting freshly made fruit puree’s. Would certainly be better than using the little tupperware cups and disposable spoons! 🙂 Less is always more. And reusable is a definitely plus!!!
Definitely would do fruit veggie combos. This gives my little guy the independence to feed himself even though he might not have the dexterity to do do other foods.
I would love to be able to pack smoothies for either lunch or breakfast on the go. It seems like we are always in the car and home prepared food is so much better for all of us.
My son am a purist and love homemade applesauce in his pouches
I would make a carrot & apple puree. Cause my little guys hate their veggies..
My boy loves applesauce, so I would definitely start with that.
My one year old loves to feed himself with his Little Green Pouch. We love plain yogurt with pureed banana with blueberries or raspberries, sweetened with a little touch of honey, and fortified with wheat germ and ground flax seed. We’ve also enjoyed applesauce and sweet potatoes, and look forward to experimenting with more fruit purees.
Broccoli applesauce. My 13 month old seriously loves it. Especially when I throw in some raisins and blend it all together.
Right now, yogurt!
Applesauce or yogurt for on the go! Thanks for the giveaway!
Cool! Mine should be in the mailbox any day now! Would love to win more! 🙂
Greek yogurt blended with frozen peaches/pineapple and strawberry, and add protein powder ans honey for sweetness as needed.
I would love to try blended sweet potatoes or peaches in them.
I want to try baby food and smoothies for the kids!
I’d love to try some fruit/veggie blends that incorporate green, leafy vegetables. Mmm…spinach!
I would love to use these for applesauce and yogurt smoothies for my son to take to school and for my little one when we are out and about for snacks. Love that it is reuseable!!
Any possible way of getting veggies into my little guy will make me happy. A little applesause and some sweet potatoes goes a long way!
My boys love applesauce! It will be nice to not spend so much on those go go squeeze.
Plain old applesauce! My son is sick this week and he has been loving pouches.
I am excited to use these pouches to get my little guy to eat his veggies mixed in smoothies etc. He likes to only feed himself!
Love the smoothie idea! I pack lunches for school and am trying to be as healthy as possible. I’d love to see smoothies in my lunch in the little green pouches!
I would LOVE to have these! We could use these for tons of things from sweet potatoes, applesauce, fruit, you name it I bet we can put it in there! We spend a ton on the disposable pouches for my son every month and this would actually save us a lot of money.
I’d love to mix broccoli and peas up in that bad boy in a tasty way that would get my 19 month old to eat his veggies! The only way we can seem to make that happen is to buy the pouches sold at Target, Wal-Mart, etc. He loves those!….Our wallets? Not so much. ;]
I’d throw anything in there. It seems like my baby will eat anything as long as it’s in a pouch!!! Pick me!
Using these for blends of fruits and veggies would be a dream and save so much money
Our daughter wants to be very independent right now so we could put pretty much anything in these pouches and help give her a balanced diet
We would definitely use them for smoothies, homemade applesauce and salad dressing. (I saw this posted on their fb page a bit ago and thought that was such an awesome idea to take to a picnic/or any on-the-go activity.) No more carrying around big bottles of dressing, a few of these and you’re set for an afternoon of healthy munching. 🙂
Yogurt, smoothies, fruits, veggies, combinations of all of the above. These pouches would be so versatile!
Hi Nancy! The winner was announced early this morning 🙂 Thank you for stopping by! ~Tara
Veggies because my daughter won’t touch them otherwise!!! She’s a food pouch addict and will eat anything out of them 🙂
Hi Emily! The winner was announced early this morning Thank you for stopping by! ~Tara
Are you announcing the winner on the blog or does the winner just get notified? Has a winner been named yet? 🙂
Hey there! Yes, I announced the winner today on the blog. Go to my home page to see who won 🙂 Merry Christmas! ~Tara
Applesauce is the first thing that will go in because my girls LOVE the pouches you buy at the store. However they are EXPENSIVE.
I hope I win!
Sorry typo on email address 😦
I would like to try my hand at what the throw away puches are making. Sweet potato, white bean and cinnamon would be my first try 🙂
I would use these for any food I puree for my baby and smoothies or apple sauce for my older child
I would put bananas, apple sauce, Yogurt and try many other foods to see if the little guys will like it in a pouch.
We have switched to the Little Green Pouches and LOVE them!! I’m happy about what we will be saving on having these little guys around!!
