Flounder

Something about Florida will make me a fish eater. I don’t try to understand it, I just go with it. Flounder is my favorite fish. I can eat it fried or baked & not gag at the fishy taste.

After scanning about a dozen recipes tonight, this is my baked flounder. Took a little from here, took a little from there & added my own to the recipe.

Baked Flounder
Mayo
Seasoning salt
Butter
Minced garlic
Salt & pepper
Soy sauce
About 1/4 cup white wine

Heat oven to 350
Spray Pam on sheet
Spread a thin layer of mayo on both sides of the fish. Add seasoning salt, salt and pepper as desired. Pour 1/4 cup white wine in the pan with the fish. I used a Pinot Grigio.
Pop in the oven for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile melt some butter (tub stuff, y’all know I hate the sticks) and add some minced garlic and a dash of soy sauce. Once the fish is cooked, pour the butter sauce on top.
I have a hard time “liking” fish, but I honestly liked my thrown together recipe.
